PUBLIC FUNDING (CIVIL AND CRIMINAL)

CIVIL

We can offer public funding (often known as “Legal Aid”) to clients for most family matters and occasionally for other disputes (e.g: contested probate) to clients who qualify financially.

We are specialists in criminal and family law and accredited as such by the Legal Services Commission.

CRIMINAL

Advice when you are at the Police Station is free and if you are charged to appear at court we will ask you to complete an application for representation which enables you to have Legal Aid for your court case.

You may be asked to pay a contribution to this in certain circumstances, as representation orders are not normally granted for traffic offences for which you will have to pay privately.
